The Bridge Board of Directors Advocacy Committee works with partners like the Junior League of Atlanta Political Affairs Committee, Family Law Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the Georgia Bar and Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough LLP, along with many individual advocates to influence state legislation that affect Georgia’s Foster Care system . Issue areas pertinent to The Bridge include: Georgia’s Level of Care System and the financial resources that the State Department of Human Resources and Department of Education dedicate to children in out-of-home placements.
