Tom Russell, CEO and Executive Director
Tom Russll has been with The Bridge for 10 years. He is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed family therapist and has practiced in Atlanta for over 30 years. He has run a private practice, taught at the university level, published dozens of professional works, directed a family therapy program at Families First for 14 years and was the clinical director for Cigna’s behavioral health services. Tom oversees work at The Bridge that helps keep families together to raise a generation of youth who, despite enormous odds against them, find resiliency, compassion and the skills to succeed and as they continue to grow and thrive in their homes, schools and communities. Tom serves on the board of directors and the executive committee for the Multi-Agency Alliance for Children, a collaboration between eight non-profit behavioral healthcare providers that are united to serve children and families. He was honored to be selected as Administrator of the Year by the Georgia Association of Homes and Services to Children in 2004.
Twilynn Jourdain, Associate Director
Twilynn Jourdain received her Masters in Counselor Education, specializing in Human Service Counseling, from the University of New Orleans. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Louisiana and Georgia and is also a Nationally Certified Counselor with over 16 years experience working with youth and families. Since 2001, she has served as the Associate Director of The Bridge and oversees agency operations and clinical programming focusing on the strengths of adolescents and families. She conducts employee training in various areas including adolescent development, solution-oriented and family-focused approaches in therapy, cultural diversity, and crisis intervention. Twilynn was named the 2005 Administrator of the Year awarded by the Georgia Association of Homes and Services for Children and is Harvard certified in Nonprofit Strategic Management.
Tom Webb, CFO
Tom Webb has been the Chief Financial Officer of The Bridge since 2001. He is responsible for all financial operations of the agency as well as providing oversight to the Maintenance, Food Services and Human Resources Administrative Departments. During his tenure, the agency has maintained unqualified audit results annually. He has strived to maintain a balanced budget and has transitioned from functioning as a Residential Facility into becoming a Core Provider for Medicaid services. Tom has worked in the non-profit sector for over 15 years as the Grant Accountant for the Grady Health System and then as Controller for AID Atlanta. Tom is a graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
Beth Pann, Development Director
Beth Pann has been the Development Director of The Bridge since 2002. She drives the fiscal accountability, program stabilization, fund development and strategic planning for the organization. In her six year tenure at The Bridge, she has managed a 200% increase in private contributions. Beth began her career in the nonprofit sector in 1994 with the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation and has coordinated fundraising and special events for an arts organization in Washington, D.C. and an emergency shelter for children in Atlanta, Georgia. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History from Denison University. |
