A successful school focuses on the growth of the students it serves, both academic and emotional. The goals of The Bridge School are to provide an academic program that promotes the improvement of all students by offering a student-centered education model that allows for individualization of instruction, academic remediation, social and cultural awareness and enhanced life skills.
The Bridge School meets the educational and emotional needs of these students with a serious academic program that is individualized, and offers creative, interpretive activities for students. The Bridge School strives to prepare the students to one day return to the community better prepared for future education and career opportunities.
The Bridge participates in statewide testing in accord with Atlanta Public School’s testing program. Students in grades seven and eight participate in Criterion Referenced Competency Test (CRCT) testing in the spring and the high school students participate in the Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHGT) and the End of Course Tests (EOCT).
