Child Protection Services was created to help children who are abused both mentally and physically. Children who are raised in an abusive home is more likely to become an abusive parent when they grow up. Stopping this vicious cycle is the job of the Child Protection Services. If you know of a child that is being abused, you should report the event to your local Child Protection Services. This organization must investigate every complaint. Children should be able to grow up in a loving home without the worries of being abused. If the Child Protection Services agent finds signs of abuse, they will remove the child from the home.

They will then place the child in temporary custody of a Foster parent. Foster parenting takes a lot of patience and skill to deal with emotionally challenged children. The child is likely to attend therapy sessions with a licensed therapist. These therapist are trained to help children who have been abused. It is the goal of the Child Protection Services to stop the cycle of abuse. Many children are moved from one Foster home to another because of their behavior. This makes it more difficult for the child to receive the loving attention they need.

No one wants to have their child removed from the home and put into child protection services. When and if that ever happens a parent needs to know that they do have rights.

Once a child is taken from your home, the parent has many rights they can exercise quickly. Once a child is ordered to be taken from the home, the parent has a right to have a complete hearing on what has happened and the state will have to give all the reasons they feel they had sufficient proof to remove the child. If they cannot do that, the child is then placed back in the home immediately. A hearing date is usually set up relatively quickly and the parent has to be notified of the date and time while the child is being taken from the home. Of course, the parent is allowed to get a lawyer to represent them at the hearing.

The parent must understand that the process is a state law. It may seem that the child agency is doing this unjustly, but that is not the case. There is a long process that takes place before the child is removed and it usually works. The job of the social service agency is to reunite the child and the parents. The fact of the matter is that the State has to feel comfortable that the reunification is going to be a safe circumstance for the child which is why the hearing is held. Parents do have a right to appear and acknowledge that they are wrong or that they feel this was not warranted. The court will decide the outcome of the hearing.

Unfortunately, not all children are raised in a home filled with love and compassion. Some children have to deal with the pain of abuse on a daily basis. They may carry this pain with them for a long time, before finally building up the courage to approach someone about it. The reason they do not tell anyone right away is because they are scared. They are scared of the consequences if their parents find out. They are scared of where they will end up. These children have only known one type of life – the abusive one. They do not understand why they are always feeling like this, but they do know that it is not normal.

When the child finally does go to a trustworthy adult about their situation, many different steps will be taken. The adult will, first off, notify law enforcement. The next step to be taken is to notify child services. Child Services is an organization which helps to remove endangered children from the household. Even before any charges are placed against the parents, the children are removed. The organization does not want to risk any future occurrence of abuse. If the parents are found guilty, it is child services who places the children into another, loving, home.

When children or adolescents are put in an abusive situation for any reason it is a big issue. There are many help programs out there that specialize in child services. When a child is abused in any way, the first objective is to get the child out of the abusers home. Once that happens other steps are then taken. Getting the child out of the home is sometimes the hardest part. The child is then placed in a better environment until child services can find a more permanent stable home. Programs like these are amazing for the fact that less and less children are being killed with help from this service. Children are also now able to live a life they deserve instead of getting emotionally, physically, or sexually abuse daily. These services also try to get charges pressed on the abuser to the best of their ability, which means less abuser’s on the street. Nobody deserves to have to be abused and scared everyday of their life. These programs give children an actual chance at life. If interested in getting involved you can go down to your local human services building and ask about getting involved. So next time you hear about a child being abuse, make sure you get in contact with child services for help!Still bored?

Those who are looking to get help for a child in need may be wondering where to turn, and how helping might impact them. There are plenty of children services that are public, and they can do a lot to get children and adolescents out of an abusive home. While there are private services that offer children some help, the only way to actually get a child out of a dangerous or abusive home is to go through the public service. They can place children in foster care and provide other types of help.

Those who are interested in private services will find things like food pantries and different types of counseling. The full explanation can be found at http://markosun.wordpress.com/2012/06/19/winnipeg-and-the-privatizing-of-public-services/ In some cases, the public and private services will work together. Often, if the situation described is bad enough, a private counselor will contact public services to make sure that the child is safe. It is the job of the public services to investigate the household and determine what action, if any, needs to take place. They can make sure that children are telling the truth about what they’re going home to every night. These are the important services that really ensure that children are safe and secure in their own homes.
