Run Walk Bark
Sunday, June 28, 2009, 7:30am - 12:00pm Brook Run Park, Dunwoody, GA
Thank you for supporting The Bridge’s first annual Run Walk Bark fundraiser held on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody to benefit our Animal Assisted Therapy Program. The Animal Assisted Therapy is a year-round program that utilizes dogs as a therapeutic intervention offering teens essential tools necessary to regain a sense of security, peace and trust with their peers as well as adults.
At this inaugural event, nearly 360 people participated in the 5K Race or 1K Dog Walk and The Bridge raised more than $20,000 supporting Animal Assisted Therapy and other ongoing programs. This tremendous success would not have been possible without the generous donations of our sponsors or without the incredible work of many volunteers including help from The Assistance League of Atlanta, AutoTrader.com, Chubb Insurance Group, Georgia Natural Gas, Georgia Pacific, Kellen Interactive, QuikTrip, UPS and Vertex.
